Australian Cricket Album, 1898
The Australian Cricket Album was edited by Clarence Moody and published by R. A. Thompson in 1898. Initially it was issued in six monthly parts, each costing sixpence.
The album is a celebration of Australian cricket. It contains a page on each of the most prominent Australian cricketers of the day, featuring a photograph, a coloured decorative border and a summary of that player's career.
It also features photographs of all Australian Test teams to date, and pictures of the most famous Australian cricket grounds of the time.
