Visitor Information

Admission to National Treasures from Australia’s Great Libraries is free. Entry to the National Treasures exhibition is from the Macquarie Street wing only.

All large bags must be placed in lockers before entering the galleries. Free lockers are located next to the lifts in the Macquarie Street wing.

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm, Weekends 11.00am – 5.00pm. Closed Monday 2 October 2006. Click here for a current list of State Library opening hours.

Groups are advised to make a booking prior to your visit.

Facilities for people with a disability include: Wheelchair access via Macquarie Street, toilets and courtesy wheelchair, hearing loop, parking on the corner of Shakespeare Place and Macquarie Street.
