Panoramic view of Gulgong from Church Hill, by the American & Australasian Photographic Company 1870-1875

This image was created from four quarter plate glass negatives [3.25x4.25in] from the Holtermann Collection. The four smaller images were joined together into one panoramic image using Photoshop CS4's photomerge function along with some selective retouching, dodging and burning. The collection contains many striking panoramic images of New South Wales and Victoria in the 1870s.
