Sydney City Mission Herald

The Sydney City Mission Herald started in June 1899 and was produced until 1977 when it became Mission Beat. The journals kept by the missionaries were regularly consulted and used for Herald articles. The Herald promoted the work of the Mission and particularly its outreach and fundraising activities. James Mathers' work in the Rocks area of Sydney was featured in the Herald for many years.
