Neither Governor Macquarie or Major Antill recorded meeting Yango Mungo Y’eyango, a Wiradjuri man, although Antill noted the possum cloaks of these people. Macquarie described the Aboriginal people he met as inoffensive. He did not consider the implications of the European occupation of their land.
