Dalwood vineyards, 1886John Wyndham commissioned a series of photographs of his Dalwood vineyard in 1886. Intended as a testament of the winery's achievements and a promotional tool for the local area, the images were compiled into large presentation albums and given to various dignitaries including Queen Victoria herself. Historically significant, they are quite possibly the oldest photographs of a single vineyard anywhere in the world.
