Sunday night:P.S. I have just been reading the paper. Men are not recruiting as they should. Do you really think I should wait till 19? That letter from the Barracks is not satisfactory. I could get recommendation from Mr Abernethy I think. If I get a licence I might get motor driving which would be better than infantry but a lot of boys of 18 are going and older men don’t seem to be so what should I do?
