Little lorikeets inhabit tropical forest areas in eastern and southern parts of Australia.
Little lorikeets are also known as Tiny lorikeets and Red-faced lorikeets.
Little lorikeets eat flowers and fruits including sweet plum sized loquats.
Little lorikeets are very rarely seen outside Australia.
The Little lorikeet is a small parrot measuring around 15cm long.
The Little lorikeet is distinguished by its mainly green plumage with a red face.
