One of Australia's most dedicated and distinguished exponents of 'concrete' and visual poetry, Richard Tipping has regularly exhibited his work in Australia and internationally since the early 1970s. He has described his fusions of poetry with other creative arts under various labels, including 'artpoems' and 'wordworks.'  

Richard Tipping lives in Sydney working with visual poetry, photography and public sculpture. 


Hearth: Earth Hear was commissioned by the State Library of NSW to accompany the exhibition Born to Concrete which features examples of Tipping’s works in diverse mediums including sculpture and printmaking.
