Carlotta

By Rennie Ellis

Throughout the seventies Carlotta was Australia’s best known and most glamorous female impersonator. She was the star of Sydney’s Les Girls show, where her dazzling good looks and voluptuous body confused the sex issue for packed houses of curious tourists and thrill seekers from the suburbs. This shot was taken in her dressing room at Les Girls.
