These colourful, dramatic and well-designed flyers were drawing attention to what was believed to be a lack of action by the Australian Government, particularly the Minister for Health Brian Howe.

Australia's response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic is recognised as one of the best in the world in containing the infection rates and the positive way the community was engaged in a safe sex message.  Community organisations like Act Up were part of this change.
