“Cook did not restrict his efforts to one company, contributing work to Offset Printing Company, Frank Johnson, KG Murray and a number of smaller companies. More than once, he was able to re-work old stories by changing the names of the characters and re-positioning some of the panels. Apparently such re-working was acceptable to publishers or went unnoticed”.
