In 2014, Cat Protection Society residents starred at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia as part of a Japanese-inspired cat café.

In 1975 Mittens, a stray cat, helped choose the former premises for the Cat Protection Society.

This is the first clinic established in New South Wales to cater solely for felines.

One hundred and fifty cat-loving volunteers give their time to work at this shelter, handling up to 3000 cats annually.
