If staff at the Flower Room could time travel to the late 1880s, they could shoot across the road for extra ribbon, at Marcus Clark & Co. drapery store, where the Dendy cinemas now stand.

In the 1920s Miss Bray, known as an ‘authority on all things musical' sold her wares from here.
