LIBRARY SYSTEM SELECTION AND IMPLEMENTATION: A CASE STUDYThis paper is based on experiences gained in selecting and implementing a new library management system (LMS) for the Australian Graduate School of Management (a School of both The University of Sydney & The University of New South Wales) over a two year period during 1997, 1998 and 1999. I attempt to pass on the lessons learned from experience, colleagues, consultants, vendors and the literature over that period, and this paper is those lessons condensed into a brief guide for those that might be looking at a new LMS for their own organisation.
