Significant information technology applications and news are reported from time to time in LASIE. Some correspondents provide brief overviews of activities in their own institutions. Others deal in more depth with a specific initiative, service or product. Official contributions from library services and factual reports from vendors of equipment and services are welcome. Contributions should be no longer than 2000 words and may be edited for length and style. Views expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the publisher.
