ABIX is an indexing service providing subject access to business information contained in the periodical literature of Australia and New Zealand, including key industry journals and newspapers. More than 200 titles are indexed dating from 1994 to the present.

AUSTGUIDE contains all the GUIDELINES and EDUCATION GUIDELINES data from January 1986 onwards.

The Annual Report Collection contains a selection of annual reports from the top 500 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Companies are chosen based on market capitalisation. Each report includes a Corporate Directory, Executive Officer Statements, Company Review, Financial Statements and Notes to the Accounts. This online database contains the full text of Australian and New Zealand standards,as well as indexing standards from the International Standards Organization (ISO, British Standards and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) records. This site provides information about the stock exchange including links to fee-based company information.

Australian business

This is an Australian government website for businesses. It got a lot of very useful links to different government business web pages. It also has a section on 'Doing business with Australia'.

Business Who's Who of Australia

This online database provides information on Australian public and private companies including company activities, contact details, company directors, branches, subsidiaries, company websites, tradenames and agencies. The company information is fully searchable which allows you to locate information such as companies within specific industries, companies by region or see who sits on which boards.

Business entry point

The Business entry point (BEP) is an initiative of the Australian Federal Government. The site provides information on running a business, the ability to register with the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission as well as access to detailed information related to specific business topics.

Delisted

This site is useful for people wanting to find out what has happened to companies that are no longer listed on the ASX, and especially shareholders in failed companies who need to establish if they can claim a capital loss against their income tax.

Factiva

Factiva is a full-text news and financial information database of publications from Australian and international sources in 22 languages from 118 countries including newspapers, magazines, company and industry reports, newswires, pictures, and websites. Searches may be limited by keywords, subject, region, industry, company, language etc. but personal notices and advertising are not included.
