Film Indexes Online brings together Film Index International and the AFI Catalog. Film Index International gives full international coverage of films and film personalities from over 170 countries. All eras of film-making are included, from the early silent movies onwards. It is based on the British Film Institute’s Summary of Information on Film and Television (SIFT) database. The AFI Catalog, from the American Film Institute, offers a detailed view of American feature films from 1893-1955 and 1961-1970.
