AUSTGUIDE

AUSTGUIDE contains all the GUIDELINES and EDUCATION GUIDELINES data from January 1986 onwards.

GUIDELINES and EDUCATION GUIDELINES give complete subject access to the contents of more than 120 periodicals, of both general and educational interest. The majority of these periodicals are Australian, but there are a considerable number of overseas publications indexed, such as 'Scientific American', 'History Today', 'Far Eastern Economic Review' and 'Unesco Courier'. Australian Public Affairs - Full Text (APA-FT), is an indexing and full text database that provides Internet access to the scanned images of journal articles from published material on the social sciences and humanities. Australian Public Affairs - Full Text is based on the journal indexing of the database Australian Public Affairs Information Service (APAIS), which is produced by the National Library of Australia and published by RMIT Publishing.

Of the 320,000+ records indexed from 2,000+ journals in APAIS, approximately half are derived from 223+ comprehensively indexed journals. The scanned images of journal articles in Australian Public Affairs - Full Text are sourced mostly from these comprehensively indexed journals. Images are provided in PDF format.

Searches may be limited by keywords, subject, region, industry, company, language etc. but personal notices and advertising are not included.

Family and Society Studies Worldwide

This online database, formerly known as Family Studies Database, is a core resource on family and gender related topics. It covers journals, books, conference and working papers, government reports, and websites in the social sciences. It contains the highly respected Australian Family and Society Abstracts from the Australian Institute of Family Studies, as well as all the records of the discontinued print version of Inventory of Marriage and Family Literature. Subjects covered include family violence, family therapy, parenting, sexual attitudes and behaviour, family counselling and education, adolescence and marriage and divorce. Making multicultural Australia

Making Multicultural Australia website is currently being developed by the Office of the Board of Studies NSW (OBOS) and the Department of Education and Training (DET). The site will include more than 3000 pages of articles, research, teacher guides, lesson plans, audio interviews, video clips and Australian multicultural artworks. Its major purpose is to assist teachers in developing anti-racist materials for use in many subject areas. New research is being added by Dr Andrew Jakubowicz of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

PILOTS : Published International Literature On Traumatic Stress

The PILOTS bibliographic database is produced at the headquarters of the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in White River Junction, Vermont. The database includes citations to all literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events.

PsycArticles

A database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber. The database includes all material from the print journals with the exception of advertisements and editorial board lists. In 2006, the historical backfiles of the journals were added to the database. Subjects include: Applied psychology, developmental psychology, and personality.
